At BMABA CIC, we\u2019re committed to reshaping how our martial arts gradings are recognised and respected across the sector. Our newly developed National Grading Integrity & Examination Standards (NGIES) framework sets out a clear, credible and transparent process that protects the integrity of rank while ensuring students, clubs, and instructors alike have confidence in the recognition awarded.<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Through NGIES, clubs can access peer-to-peer recognised gradings within their own community, giving authenticity and shared accountability, with the assurance of a governing body\u2013level grading fallback aligned to recognised NGB protocols where applicable. This dual pathway ensures both independence and oversight, striking the right balance for modern martial arts.<\/p>

We can support onward progression through merit-based examinations, which benchmark ability, skill and knowledge, as well as, in select and carefully assessed circumstances, time-served gradings that recognise an instructor\u2019s experience and contribution. Together, this creates a robust, future-proof grading pathway that helps uphold standards and safeguard the credibility of black belt and higher awards.<\/p>
