Chief Instructor
The designated lead instructor or person responsible for overall club management and operations.
DSL (Designated Safeguarding Lead)
The person you can contact with any safeguarding concerns. If you're unsure about contacting them directly, you can escalate to BMABA's national safeguarding unit.
SENCO (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator)
Appointed to ensure fair access, inclusion, and dedicated SEN provision for students with additional needs.
Pedagogy Lead
Responsible for teaching methods and practice, including curriculum development and instructional quality.
Compliance Officer
Oversees verification of instructors, assistants, and volunteers, ensuring adherence to Regulation Ready standards.
Note: In smaller clubs, the same person may hold multiple roles. All required checks and qualifications are verified regardless of role distribution.
