Full Closures & National Contingency: March 20th Update
Coronavirus Instructor Briefing
March 20th, 19:25
What a week it’s been. This time last week, it was almost ‘business as usual’. A week on, everything is entirely different and the UK martial arts sector – like so many others – has been rocked to its core. We have been providing daily briefings every night this week (bar last night) and today’s is possibly the most conclusive and daming yet. Regardless of how hopeless you may be feeling right now, please see our contingency planning first. We can, and we will get through this together.
What are we covering in tonight’s daily briefing?
> What was tonight’s Government briefing about?
> Do martial arts clubs finally now need to stop?
> What about one to one training?
> Where does my insurance stand?
> What’s the plan now, and how is the BMABA helping?
> So what should you be doing right now?
We recognise this is a grave time for many clubs. As an organisation, whilst remaining robust and in fine-fettle to continue serving you throughout and beyond the Coronavirus Pandemic, we feel your pain too. We are here for you, as is the rest of the community. We need to stick together, ‘buckle down’ and adapt; immediately. There will be a sunrise at the end of this darkness, and we need to ensure you and your club are ready.
You’ll need to be a registered BMABA member to read this full press release. If you already are, click here now.
