If you haven’t already explored our website fully, you’ll be mistaken for thinking this is too good to be true, but it’s really not.

There’s of course a few basic things we can’t do – including a few basic limitations on super-advanced or resource hungry functionality replication however this is so rarely an issue, we don’t tend to mention it as a headline consideration (we’re talking less than 1 in 500 sites!).

There’s two reasons we provide this service freely to clubs.

The first is cost saving at club level. We’ve found so many clubs are spending upward of £300 per year – often alot more – for website builders and associated software. That more than covers the cost of BMABA membership with insurance in most instances.

The idea is that we save club’s costs on software and tech provisions whilst enhancing what they have available to them under a single payment. This is especially true as this is provided with BMABA membership, which comes with so much more than just the software.

For us, it’s simple. We’ll lose money doing the migrations (as it costs us time and resources) but we hope you’ll like our hosting infrastructure and Club Management Platform. If you do, you’ll likely find your club saves enough to more than cover BMABA membership, which hopefully means you’ll remain a member long into the future. We think this strategy of mutual growth helps clubs, and helps us. 

That’s why we provide this service. The design duplication doesn’t take as long as you think, so it’s not as if we’re tying up a member of the team for forty hours per site either!

We’ll never make such assumptions. 

We love WordPress. It’s trusted by millions of sites worldwide and is one of the most widely used, well documented and most trusted website content management systems (CMS) in the world. 

Our take on that, WordPressbyBMABA, includes the core platform with additional resources, plugins, tools and user experience functionality baked in. 

We love it – but then we would, as its ours! You might not. That’s why we’re keen to stress you should really ‘take it for a test drive’ first if this is a fundamental reason for joining. Speak to a colleague on chat for more information.

If you are a member and plan to use it, you’ll find as much support as you can manage waiting for you as well as hundreds of pounds of extras included ‘right out of the bag’.

Ultimately, we want you to decide which you prefer – your current platform or ours.

Similar to the above; we’ll never say yes or no.

Club Management Platforms can differ hugely, especially as so few are built just for martial arts.

We love ClubManager by BMABA – our own in-house, trademarked platform. But we would, because we built it!

You might not.

There’s also lots of awesome software providers out there doing great work and providing solid systems. The difference is always going to be with the pricetag, as ours is completely free subject to membership caps.

We think our platform offers clubs absolutely everything they’ll need, and as its built into WordPress it’s also ultra flexible but it does take a bit of extra work on your part getting it initially setup and ready to go. Support is freely available of course, but its not for everyone.

That’s why you should take our platform for a spin, for free, to see what you think before you jump ship. 

We want you to make an informed decision based on the platform catering to your club needs ahead of cost considerations.

That’s absolutely fine, and something we hear alot. If you’re joining BMABA please bear in mind it’s an annual commitment (even if you pay monthly) as we’re a membership organisation, not a software provider.
