We’re Working On A Huge Revamp For 2021
For all of our members, the strategy BMABA employs – putting the latest technology at the heart of our association – will come as no surprise.
We have always been proud to be at the forefront of the modernisation of the martial arts industry. That’s not to be conflated with an erosion of the virtues, traditions and santicites of martial arts itself – merely our effort to ensure BMABA services are available 24/7 on any device. From our award winning, cutting edge websites through to the ability to register students from a smartphone ‘on the spot’. From modern, rapid digital certification through to a real-time checkable verification system for our instructors. Bringing BMABA clubs the latest advances in technology is a must if we are to evolve into the ever-quickening digital world.
During lockdown in March we worked frantically to launch the BMABA Group of Social Enterprises which proved to be a huge success. The mite of MartialHost, MartialArtsDoneRight, British Martial Arts and others has helped our members ‘bounce back’ from lockdown and helped ring-fence the BMABA’s self-generated income allowing us to continue providing huge subsidies to our clubs.
Whilst we know many clubs will be trying to push on through what we hope will be no more than a month-long second lockdown, it’s easy to see why many associations have largely closed-up-shop, to return in December. Unfortunately, that doesn’t support members during what is ultimately one of the most crucial times for their club.
Whilst our office remains open Monday – Saturday on full hours as usual, we’re using this period of lower traffic across our servers to undertake the biggest ever revamp of our websites and digital services. What we have in place right now works really well, but we think we can improve on that. From the introduction of a cutting-edge app to the latest CRM databases to help you manage your club better, BMABA Group are working 7 days a week behind the scenes to help build and implement a massive regeneration to our online capabilities.
If all goes well, most of our members won’t notice a significant difference initially. Over the coming weeks, however, our clubs and instructors will find dozens of new features and tools that will make it easier than ever to manage your club with BMABA. We’re also introducing a huge revamp to our certification, student provisions, club licensing, insurances and so on – but we will share what will be an industry-disrupting update a little later in the month when we’re ready to go. The updates to our servers and online services will be nothing compared with the updates to our membership options and provisions.
We’re doing everything we can to help you emerge as strong as possible from this lockdown, and we will continue to do whatever is needed to get you and your club back on track in 2021.
